Hebrews 10:35-36

After reading today's verses in several other translations, I have to say I like my NLT the best. Please take a moment and read it in the NLT. I love this promise today!

When we have confident trust in the LORD, we are rewarded. I mean, we can’t help but get through any junk and rejoice in the good stuff when we are trusting God!

Patient endurance sounds strange, but it's possible when you trust God to fulfill His promises in the Bible for all of us. Then, there are words of knowledge that God gives to someone to speak over us. As well as things He tells us personally.

In January of every year, my former church home does Blessing Night. We would pray for people and say whatever we heard God say. Some of that was prophetic and coming straight from God. Also, we can just randomly have someone tell us something God prompted them to. Those become personal promises for ourselves.

Any promise in the Bible, any promise we receive through words of knowledge, or Him revealing promises to ourselves, can be prayed back to God and held on to. It's not that He has forgotten, but it’s a way to build our faith.

Here are a few examples: “Father, Your Word says to train up a child in Your ways & when they are older they won’t depart from it. Thank You for bringing my prodigals home.”

“Father, I heard You say I was going to meet my husband at church. I trust You & believe, so I’m holding on to that promise.”

“Father, that man I’ve never met says I’m an intercessor for the nations. Show me what that looks like & help me do whatever it is You want me to do.”

If we patiently endure, hold on to His ways, and believe, then we will get all that He has promised. The key is, we HAVE to wait for God’s timing. I’m here to tell you, if I can do it, you can too!
