Genesis 28:12-13

I should have had us write this before Genesis 32. I apologize. The “he” in our verses today is Jacob. This happened at Bethel on his way to his other family's land where his dad sent him to get married. We didn’t write everything God said to Jacob, so I highly recommend you finish reading your verse 15.

God sends angels down here on assignment constantly. I think we all have a guardian angel as well. God allowed Jacob to see this stairway in the spirit realm and to see the angels coming down to earth and returning to Heaven.

I have seen artwork where people try to capture this Angel staircase, and it’s beautiful, but I bit it was more beautiful in real life. (Looks like I missed a New Testament and Old Testament connection here! Please read John 1:51 in the NLT translation. It’s Jesus talking. I can’t believe I missed it!
