Ephesians 3:12-13

The NIV Bible says, “we may approach God with freedom and confidence.” Jesus is the only reason we can do that! Had He not sacrificed His life, in our place, we would not have everything we do today. As we have talked about before, we become God’s adopted children. That gives us the freedom to go to God anytime 24/7.

I just thought about it when I woke up… I feel like I don’t talk to God enough. That has to hurt Him. He wants us to talk to Him just like I want my kids and bonus kids to talk to me. We are able to go freely to God. Any day. Any time.

Paul didn’t like suffering but he knew what he signed up for would bring it. He felt like it was worth his pain and suffering because Jesus did so much for us! We might suffer for our faith some, but here in the United States, we are blessed. Other countries are persecuted for their faith. We need to go to God boldly, confidently, and freely and pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ who don’t have fred of religion like we do.
