2nd Thessalonians 3:16

I realize this is Paul’s closing of his letter to the church in Thessalonica, but it’s so good. God is a God of order and peace. His peace is not only eternal, but it’s also something others can feel.

Have you ever walked in a room and felt the tension? Maybe someone had been arguing or were currently in a fight. The anger from the people can literally be felt. Why cab’t peace do the same thing? Not only for ourselves when we are anxious but for others. I bet you anything, if someone confesses they are anxious about something, and you stop to pray for them, asking the God of peace to bring peace- He WILL do it!

As I have said before, peace is also a fruit of the Holy Spirit. We already have it in us. On occasion, we just need to stop and access it. God can and will give us peace in ALL situations. Not some. Not a few. ALL. His peace is available 365 days a year and 24 hours a day. Isn’t that amazing news?
