2nd Corinthians 4:8-9

Some of our troubles in this modern world of 2026 are unlike anything Paul went through. We have probably never been shipwrecked. I know we haven’t had rocks thrown at us to attempt to kill us. I am not discounting the possible trauma and loss someone can experience, it’s just different. Much like Paul, we can get overwhelmed.

Feeling overwhelmed can feel like crushing and pressing on us emotionally. There are many different things that can cause this type of anxiety. However, there is ONE solution! JESUS! No matter what happens or what we go through, Jesus will never leave us. Nothing can make Him leave us either. On occasion, WE leave Him by our choices. But He never leaves us.

When life is getting weird for you, RUN to Him! He is our Fortress and Strength. He can block out some of the bad trying to get us, we just have to let Him. Don’t try to do this on your own, OK? God wants to get you through it.
