2nd Corinthians 1:3-5

One of the biggest things about suffering is how God uses it. For me, I am able to minister to women who either end up divorced or who have had miscarriages. Those are both huge things that God got me through. God comforts us, we in turn, comfort others.

Verse 5 mentioning suffering FOR Christ. That's very different. Let’s say you have a co-worker who hates God, Jesus and church, the whole thing. Now let’s say that person bullies you, says things, puts nasty things on your desk or something.. simply because of your faith. Or, if the government stopped churches from meeting. Or you were given a ticket because of a Christian sticker on your car. That’s suffering FOR Christ. Hopefully, we won’t experience something like that ever. We are blessed to be able to go to church without persecution. Some of our fellow believers have church underground! God is moving though! And they are comforted as they suffer.
