2 Corinthians 4:16-18

I highly recommend you taking the time to read verses 8-15 today. Paul was encouraging the church at Corinth that even though they were having trouble, it won’t last forever.

I love what he says in verse 16, “Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are renewed every day.” That’s so true, but I think that only happens when we don’t give up. Some people literally feel attacked almost daily. They struggle with bad & negative things happening. That can really start to get a person down. Ya know? Paul knew it too. If we stay in prayer & God’s Word, it will help us renew our spirit daily, no matter what comes our way.

Some troubles last years and they might feel like forever to us, but they aren’t. Compared to eternity, years are short.

Here is our BIG take away today…. when we fix our eyes on our problems, they stay huge and problems. When we fix our eyes on Jesus, our entire life changes. All of these earthly things will one day be gone. That’s a fact. All of the things of God last forever! I’m so happy about that!
