1st Chronicles 16:26-27

If I could have, I would have had us write verses 23-25 as well. Sometimes we just need to honor God. Other times we need the reminder that He is amazing! There are idols and what I call little g gods in our world. Also, people put things in their hearts above God which creates idols. We MUST be careful doing that.

I love what my NLT Bible says in verse 27. So I’m going to share it… “Honor and majesty surround Him; strength and JOY fill His dwelling.” Of ALL of the characteristics and attributes someone could share about God, to say strength and JOY fill His dwelling is not what most would expect. Am I right? I don’t know about you, but that makes my heart happy. Learning what God is like can bring us joy as well because we tend to misunderstand His character. I’m glad I found these verses to share!
