1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

I have read these verses several times but this morning is the first time I realized 3 sounds will happen as God comes down from Heaven. This will be His return to take believers with Him. There will be a shout from Heaven, the voice of the archangel and a trumpet call. (The Complete Jewish Bible says a shofar. Those things are cool.)

During this event, the people still alive on earth will be caught up in the air with the LORD. I don’t know when this will happen, but we can know that we will be with God forever when it does.
