1 Peter 5:10-11

I think we get so bogged down in life and with things that cause us trouble, that we forgot “in His kindness God called us to share in His eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus.” What does this mean exactly? It means that this world is not our home. We are just passing through.

Peter uses the words “in a little while” to discuss how long we would suffer here on earth before God will restore, support, and strengthen us. Then he says God will place us on a firm foundation. We can already have a firm foundation in Christ, which is what will help with those storms.

I am so grateful for a Heavenly Father who restores, supports, & strengthens. Life isb’t always easy, but having Him gets us through so much! Wouldn't you agree??
