1 Peter 3:21-22

Peter was one of Jesus's disciples that became very close to Him. So, he wrote 1st and 2nd Peter.

The water in our verses is referring to the flood of Noah. Peter is saying in verse 19 that Jesus went to preach to the dead people in “prison”… those who died in the flood of Noah’s time. Peter is connecting & changing the flood water to water at baptism that now shows your faith to the public.

Jesus is up in Heaven in the seat of honor and praying for us! When you become a Christ follower, that’s one thing you get. A praying Savior! How awesome is that!?
