Psalm 92:1-3
Believe it or not, but I don’t think David wrote this Psalm. Take a look back at Psalm 90. It says, “A prayer of Moses, the man of God”. If you search through the book, some chapters say they are written by David. I think he wrote A LOT, but there are psalms of Asaph and Korah too. I think Moses might have written Psalm 90-100. I might be wrong, but it’s what I think.
The reason I bring up the writer is that changes context a lot. Moses was around LONG before David. Moses’ life and situations were way different than David’s as well.
One main awesome thing about the Bible is that it is active and alive. These verses help us realize that we should thank God by singing praises to Him. He is good to us! He does love us unconditionally and He is faithful to us. Even when life isn’t going well, we can praise Him.
I have a challenge today!! Post some of your favorite songs. Let’s praise God together today!
