Psalm 126:1-3

Several times in the Old Testament, the people of Israel disobeyed God and He either allowed them to be attacked or He sent them to another country as captives for punishment. (Daniel’s lifetime came to mind, they spent 70 years in Babylon.)

Psalm 126 does not give us the author's name, so I don’t know who wrote it and at what point in history they were returning to Jerusalem, but they were laughing & joyful about it!

Our comparison could be if we walked away from our faith- then came back. I did that. I walked away from 15 until I was 23 years old. Losing my twins brought me back to Him. He gave me peace when I didn’t have any- so I ran to Him. I was grieving but joyful knowing my babies were in Heaven and I was back on track with the Lord. Do you have a comeback story? I’d love to hear it!
