Proverbs 4:20-22

Our verses today were written by King Solomon, David’s son. He was asked by God what he wanted & Solomon asked for wisdom. For a long time, he was the wisest man and he lived wisely. He wrote a few books in the Bible, Proverbs being one of them.

Solomon wrote these things in order to pass on his wisdom to his children. However, God had them compiled in order for us to learn from them too.

We can read our verses as if God Himself is talking to us. We can also determine that God’s WORD (aka The Bible) can help us by bringing life and healing to our bodies.

If you have never really read Proverbs, I highly recommend it. Once, for several months, I would read a chapter a day at the beginning of each month. I changed the Bible version too. You can learn a lot from Proverbs.
