Proverbs 23:22-25

I realize not everyone has a great relationship with their parents. Some don’t even have their parents on earth anymore. I’m sorry about that for y'all. Hopefully, you can still relate to today's verses.

King Solomon wrote the Book of Proverbs. When God asked him what he wanted, he asked for wisdom. God gave him an abundance of it!

Solomon's advise to us in these verses is to get truth, wisdom, discipline, and good judgment as well as to listen to our parents because in doing that and living for God we will bring them joy.

Ultimately, God is our Father too, so living this way will bring Him joy as well.
