Proverbs 13:20-21

This month we are writing about friendship. There is a saying, “You are a combination of the 5 people you spend the most time with.” This is why who we choose as friends matters. You can’t pick your family, but you can pick your friends.

Solomon was one of the wisest men to ever live. Ultimately, he disobeyed God and lost everything, but before that, he was amazing. He is David’s son. To prove how amazing God is, he is Bathsheba’s son, the lady David took for a wife just because he wanted her. He had her husband killed. When God asked Solomon what he wanted, he said wisdom. So God granted it to him in abundance. We will be writing from Proverbs, written by him, a good bit this month.

If you choose wise people to be around, then you will be wise. They will help you and not bring you down. If you hang out with people who get in trouble a lot, you will more than likely end up in trouble too.
