Philippians 4:6-7

I absolutely LOVE these verses! They are so full of great advice and truth. Worry steals a lot from us. But it’s so easy to do. I have even done it myself. Turning those worries into prayer can help! Which is exactly what Paul is trying to teach us.

Notice Paul doesn’t say, “tell God what you WANT.” I think that’s why people get hurt and think God didn’t answer their prayer- truth is what we prayed for was something we didn’t NEED. If we got everything we WANTED, we would be spoiled brats. That’s not God’s desire for us.

When we do things this way, we have God’s peace that passes all understanding. That peace can and will guard our hearts and minds IF we let it. I have enjoyed this month learning about thankfulness. I hope yall did too.
