Philippians 2:3-5

Father God, normally I don’t struggle with selfishness but I’m sure I think of myself first on occasion. I repent of that. I’m sorry for those moments. Help me to not try to impress others. As my best friend Susan prays, “Let us have only an audience of ONE!” We should not do anything to impress others. You are the only One we need to impress!

Help me stay humble LORD and never think I’m better than anyone! I’m not. We are all what and who You created us to be. We are where we are due to our choices & Your divine leading. I am not better than anyone. Let me keep that mind set and continue to take interest in others and not just my own stuff. I want to have the same attitude that Christ had. I want to treat others the way I want to be treated. Thank You for helping me be more Christ like and treat others well. In Jesus name, amen
