Luke 15:6-7

Continuing yesterday’s verses, our shepherd has carried this lost sheep home. Not just back with the fold. All the way home. Notice that he is so joyful, he calls his neighbors & friends out to rejoice with him. In Bible times, they were such a close community. Their houses and towns were super close but they even cared enough to rejoice over a lost sheep.

Jesus compared that to Heaven when someone gives their heart and lives to Him. This is why we clap in church after the salvation prayer. We want to rejoice with Heaven and the people who just made the best decision of their lives!

Everyone in Heaven is joyful that they will see us one day after we pass away from this earth. They are already experiencing all of the wonderful things and they are joyful. Not only is there 24/7 worship of God, but I bet they are just constantly cheering for new saved people too! It's going to be unlike anything we have ever experienced!
