Exodus 14:13-14

Father God, I am SO thankful that You haven’t changed! Your covenant did. Our big picture of Your character was shown in and through Jesus. But even in the New Testament we read about letting You fight our battles.

At this place in history, the Egyptians had just started pursuing the Israelites who had just fled from there. They were stuck between a large body of water and the 600 chariots racing towards them. While we can't SEE our enemy, he’s around. He uses other people, our own thoughts, and many other tricks to keep us in a depressed, anxious, & fearful state of mind. But You are victorious over any and everything he does.

If You physically & literally took care of their enemy, we must remember the truth that You'be already defeated OURS too!!! You fight for us and that’s from victory! Thank You for helping us stay calm and letting You handle things for us. In Jesus name, amen
