Ephesians 2:9-10

Father God, thank You that salvation is a gift and not a reward! Our culture tends to make us somewhat performance based. We are used to being rewarded for doing good things. Salvation is one of those things that we CANNOT earn! This keeps us from bragging about how WE earned our salvation, which is a good thing.

We can’t brag because You are the One who created us and You are the Master Artist! We are Your masterpieces that are created new at salvation. You already had good things planned for us, but You had to wait for us to exercise our free will & accept You as our Lord & Savior. Thank You for planning ahead! Thank You for having a plan even when I got off track because I did my own thing. Thank You for loving us and creating us! I'm grateful to be Your daughter! In Jesus name, amen.
