Christ is head of the church. The church is the body. I’m not really sure why God uses this language, but without Jesus on earth right now, He can use us.
God reconciled everything to Himself. All that sin separated, He restored through Jesus's death, burial, & resurrection.
God made peace with everything. Everything. Not some things. Not a few things, but everything. That doesn’t mean we will always have peace on earth, but it means we can have HIS peace.
There are SO many things that Christ’s death, burial, & resurrection actually did. We probably can’t learn it all this side of Heaven, but we can do our best to live out what He has done for us!
