1st Corinthians 6:12

If we are struggling with sin in any area of our life, then we aren’t free. (I’m referring to a regular habitual sin.) Jesus came to pay for our freedom. He took our sin on the cross so that we didn’t have to.

Giving our life to Christ has freedom, yes, but not freedom to keep on sinning. As a matter of fact, you should start feeling some kind of way when you sin. Holy Spirit should nudge you and remind you that whatever it is isn’t good for you.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about total surrender to our LORD and Savior! Giving Him every area of our lives and being dependent on Him keeps us in a good place. We don’t let our sinful nature run our lives anymore, Jesus does. Now THAT’S freedom!
